Celebrating Compliance & Ethics Week at Rutgers: November 3–7, 2025

Each year, Compliance & Ethics Week provides an opportunity to highlight the importance of ethical decision-making and integrity in the workplace. At Rutgers, the University Ethics and Compliance (UEC) team is excited to participate by hosting several events designed to raise awareness, promote understanding, and connect with our university partners. 

Throughout the week, you’ll have the chance to meet members of the UEC team, learn more about compliance areas that impact your work, and engage in interactive discussions that bring compliance concepts to life. We invite all members of the Rutgers community, faculty, staff, and students, to join us in celebrating the role compliance and ethics play in supporting our shared mission of excellence. 

Monday, November 3 – Friday, November 7 – Compliance Week Contest 

To kick off Compliance Week, students, staff, and faculty. are welcome to participate in a virtual Compliance Week Contest. Take the Compliance Week 2025 quiz to test your knowledge about compliance. Those who receive a perfect score on the quiz will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win an awesome prize. The contest opens on Monday, November 3rd at 7 AM and closes on Friday, November 7th at 5 PM. The raffle winner will be contacted on Tuesday, November 11th 

Wednesday, November 5 – 11AM – 2PM – Compliance in Action: Table at University Hospital 

Our healthcare compliance team will collaborate with the University Hospital Compliance team and host an information table in the cafeteria at University Hospital in Newark, NJ to help raise awareness about compliance and ethics. Visitors can stop by to learn more about key compliance areas across the university. Our team will also be asking short, interactive questions to help spark conversation and share insights about how compliance supports the university community. 

Wednesday, November 5 – 12PM – 1PM – Lunch & Learn on Disability Compliance + Interactive Compliance Table 

Join us for a lunch and learn session focused on Universal Design: Facility-specific standards: Entrances, restrooms, signage, and more, hosted at 33 Knightsbridge in Piscataway, NJ. This session will explore best practices for accessibility and fostering an inclusive university environment.

In addition, we will be hosting an interactive compliance table will be set up in the Knightsbridge lobby throughout the day, featuring short quizzes and engaging conversations around compliance, ethics, and policy. Stop by to learn more and connect with the compliance and ethics team.

Thursday, November 6 – 11AM – 12PM  – Coffee with Compliance: Meet the Team Webinar 

Grab your morning coffee and join the University Ethics and Compliance team for a virtual “Coffee with Compliance” conversation. Meet the compliance and ethics staff, learn more about their areas of focus, and participate in interactive polls and discussions. This session is a great opportunity to ask questions, share feedback, and better understand how compliance supports the Rutgers community. Register for Coffee with Compliance.
