Report an Incident
Any person may report a violation of the Rutgers Title IX Policy, regardless of whether the person reporting is the person alleged to be the victim the prohibited conduct. The University strongly encourages individuals use its online reporting tools:
- Reports against Students can be made here: Reporting Form – Students
- Reports against employees can be made here: Reporting Hotline – Employees
Reports may also be made in person, by mail, by telephone, by electronic mail, or by any other means that results in a Title IX Coordinator receiving the oral or written report. Contact information for the Title IX Coordinators is listed online at the following site: Rutgers Title IX Coordinators
While anonymous reports will be reviewed by a Title IX Coordinator, the University’s ability to address Title IX Prohibited Conduct reported by anonymous sources is significantly limited. There is no time limit for reporting an incident of Title IX Prohibited Conduct. However, the University encourages reports to be made as soon as possible. The University’s ability to investigate and respond effectively may be reduced with the passage of time.
